From the house, walk along the macadam path to the village of Kramplje. You cross the main road and continue following the signs for Krpanova pot. You go along the asphalt road across the village of Škrabče. At the crossroads for Ravnik, turn right to Iško. When the asphalt ends, you continue along the forest path. The forest path that descends into the canyon is now your way to continue. Soon you will be joined by the stream Iška.
In the silence, you will hear it's gurgling. In the forest on both sides you can see hellebore and snowdrops. They peek out of the snow and welcome spring. They look so vulnerable, but they are very hardy and strong. The whole landscape seems fragile, The small frozen waterfalls on the Iška are melting and the whole landscape seems fragile and vulnerable, as if it will break into thousands of pieces. But It's nothing like that. I can really feel how a new, fresh energy of life is born from under this vulnerability.
When you think you've had enough simply turn around and go back the same way. Surprisingly, the path will work quite differently when you go back.
“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity. If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.”
